Indocement received the first shipment of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) from waste processing at the Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST) Sentiong, Cimahi City. The RDF first shipment ceremonial held on April 22, 2024. The event was attended by the Acting Governor of West Java, Bey Machmudin, the Acting Mayor of Cimahi, Dicky Saromi, and the General Manager of the E-AFAM Division, Soegito C. Kurniawan. The Cimahi City Environmental Agency (DLH) made the first shipment of 16 tons of RDF to Indocement from TPST Sentiong to the Indocement Factory in Citeureup, Bogor. The target is for TPST Sentiong to be able to send 30 to 50 tons of RDF per day.

This first RDF shipment is one way to increase the supply of RDF at Indocement and strengthen the relationship between Indocement and the local government by becoming a solution for waste management.
