Indocement Wins Gold Award at CSR & PDB Awards 2025

Indocement has once again achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Gold Award at the Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Village Development (CSR & PDB) Awards 2025. The award ceremony took place on September 30, 2025, in Jakarta, organized by the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) in collaboration with the Indonesian Social Sustainability Forum (ISSF). The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan and Minister of Villages PDTT Yandri Susanto.

The award recognizes the success of the Jangkrik BOS program, an innovative village empowerment initiative that not only boosts community income but also promotes environmental conservation. The program utilizes post-mining reclamation land for cricket farming while developing insect vegetation forests, which have successfully increased biodiversity to 38 insect species.

Beyond its ecological impact, the program delivers significant economic benefits. Based on Social Return on Investment (SROI) calculations, every Rp1 of social investment generates more than double the value for the community, with an SROI score of 2.23.

The award was received by Indocement’s Corporate Secretary, Dani Handajani, underscoring the company’s strong commitment to integrating sustainability into every aspect of its operations.
