Commitment and Policy to Meet Fair Operations
The Company realizes that supporting sustainable development requires the implementation of fair operating principles to achieve a balance between people, planet, partnership, and prosperity. The embodiment of these fair operating principles is reflected in the Company’s implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles in all activities, by adhering to and complying with all laws and regulations applicable in the Republic of Indonesia.
In carrying out its business processes, the Company is committed to maintaining healthy business competition in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, while upholding the principles of efficiency, effectiveness, competitiveness, transparency, fairness, and accountability. Currently, the Company has implemented several policies, either developed internally or adopted from the compliance guidelines issued by the HeidelbergCement Group (“Group Compliance Guidelines”), to support the implementation of social responsibility related to fair operations, including:
- Anti-Corruption and Gratification Policies;
- Company’s Code of Conduct;
- Trade Sanctions Policy;
- Anti-Money Laundering Policy;
- Healthy Business Competition Policy;
- Policies related to Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights;
- Policies related to Political Activities;
- Indocement Code of Conduct;
- Policies related to Shareholders, Investors, and/or Media Communication.
The Group Compliance Guidelines and Indocement Code of Conduct are anticipatory measures intended to prevent Company personnel from engaging in practices that are contrary to the principles of fair operation.
