Indocement reaffirms its commitment to advancing human resources in the construction industry by serving as an official partner in the 2024 Regional Selection of the Construction Workforce Competition (KTKK). Organized by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Construction Development, this competition aims to select top regional representatives to compete at the national level during the Konstruksi Indonesia event, scheduled for 6–8 November 2024 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Carrying the theme “Agility and Adaptability for a Competitive Construction Sector”, the competition highlights the importance of a workforce that is responsive and adaptable in the era of Industry 4.0. This was emphasized by Ir. Abdul Muis, M.T., Director General of Construction Development, who underscored the need for construction workers to embrace technological advancements and evolving industry demands.
Participants will compete in four categories:
- Mini house construction
- Building information modeling (BIM)
- Surveyor
- Heavy equipment operator (Excavator)
Indocement is the official partner for the Mini House Construction category in three regional selections:
- Southern Sumatra Region (Lampung, Bengkulu, South Sumatra, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung), in collaboration with Construction Services Center (BJKW) II Palembang, held on 28–29 August 2024.
- Western Java Region (West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Banten), with BJKW III Jakarta, held on 24–26 September 2024.
- BJKW IV Surabaya Region (Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, NTB, and NTT), held on 2–3 October 2024.
The first-place winners from each region will represent their respective areas at the national level during Konstruksi Indonesia 2024.
Beyond sponsorship, Indocement actively contributes technical support by providing expert judges and delivering product knowledge sessions on Tiga Roda Cement and Mortar to participants and stakeholders throughout the event.
The following provinces will represent their regions at the 2024 National KTKK finals:
- BJKW II: South Sumatra
- BJKW III: DKI Jakarta
- BJKW IV: Central Java
