Indocement received three national CSR awards in 2026, recognizing the Company’s sustainability initiatives in environmental education, waste management, and the circular economy.
Indocement received a Platinum Award at the 2026 Indonesian CSR Awards (ICA) for its 3Roda Edu-Green Park program. The Company earned another Platinum Award at the 2026 Indonesia Sustainable Development Goals Award (ISDA) through its CERDAS (Cipta Energi dari Sampah) program.
Indocement also received a Gold Award in the Environment category at the 2026 CSR & PDB Award. These three achievements reflect the Company’s commitment to implementing social and environmental responsibility programs that benefit communities and support sustainability.
The award was received by Indocement CSR Manager Gadang Wardhono on September 29, 2026, in Jakarta.
3Roda Edu-Green Park Promotes Environmental Education
Through 3Roda Edu-Green Park, Indocement integrates environmental education with practical environmental management. The program aims to raise public awareness, particularly among younger generations, of the importance of protecting and preserving the environment.
Its educational activities encourage participants to understand environmental management practices that can be applied in everyday life. Through this approach, environmental education extends beyond knowledge and helps foster sustainable habits and concrete action.
CERDAS Turns Residual Waste into Alternative Fuel
The CERDAS (Cipta Energi dari Sampah) program applies a circular economy approach by utilizing residual waste that meets specific requirements as refuse-derived fuel (RDF).
The RDF is used as an alternative fuel to support the cement production process. This approach gives suitable residual materials a new purpose as an alternative energy source.
CERDAS also brings together communities, government institutions, business partners, and employees to help build a collaborative waste management system. This collaboration is designed to generate environmental, social, and economic benefits for stakeholders.
Recognition of Indocement’s Environmental CSR Initiatives
The Gold Award in the Environment category at the 2026 CSR & PDB Award further recognized Indocement’s efforts to implement CSR programs focused on environmental sustainability.
The award was presented by Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Environment, Diaz Faisal Malik Hendropriyono.
Embedding Sustainability into the Company’s Culture
The three awards recognize the contributions of numerous parties, including employees, communities, and program partners. For Indocement, these achievements provide further motivation to develop initiatives that deliver tangible benefits for the environment and society.
Through 3Roda Edu-Green Park and CERDAS, Indocement continues to advance environmental education, waste management, and circular economy practices while embedding sustainability into the Company’s culture.
