Indocement has launched the fifth intake of its Job Seeker Apprenticeship Program for 2026–2027. The program reflects Indocement’s commitment to human capital development and to improving workforce readiness for careers in the industrial sector.

Continuing Indocement’s Industrial Vocational Program

The Job Seeker Apprenticeship Program is a continuation of Indocement’s Industrial Vocational Program, which has been implemented since 2017 to strengthen links between education and industry. Since 2022, the apprenticeship program has completed four intakes involving a total of 200 participants.

For the fifth intake, 35 participants were selected through a process comprising psychological testing, an academic assessment based on diploma grades, and interviews with Indocement’s expert team. The participants represent three competency areas: Electrical Power Installation Engineering with 10 participants, Mechanical/Heavy Equipment Engineering with 22 participants, and Industrial Chemistry with three participants.

Technical, Non-Technical, and Workplace Safety Training

The nine-month program runs from October 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, at the Citeureup Factory Complex. During the program, participants will receive training in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), technical and non-technical competencies, and On-the-Job Training (OJT), supported by mentors in their respective fields.

The learning program is designed to provide hands-on work experience, introduce participants to industrial workplace culture, and foster discipline, professionalism, and a strong safety culture.
