An educational biodiversity proposal by Faradlina Mufti, winner of the 2025 Quarry Life Award (QLA) Indonesia, has earned global recognition by securing the Biodiversity & Education Award at the international level. The announcement was made on November 27, 2025, in Heidelberg, Germany.
Faradlina’s proposal, titled “Biodiversity Education through Birdwatching Students of Palimanan 1 State Senior High School and PGRI Palimanan Senior High School in the Conservation Area Indocement Palimanan, Cirebon”, introduces an innovative approach to learning through birdwatching activities in the Cirebon factory conservation area. The project engages local schools and communities to improve knowledge, build networks, and create economic opportunities as educational tour guides. This initiative reinforces the company’s ESG principles and conservation efforts.
