On August 2, 2025, Indocement marked its 50th anniversary, which was officially falling on August 4, with a grand celebration at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). The event was attended by the Board of Directors, Commissioners, their spouses, management, employees, and families from various work units, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and pride.
The celebration kicked off with a 5,000-step Fun Walk and Fun Run, followed by the unveiling of the special 50th-anniversary edition cement bags and the launch of bulk cement trucks and mixers featuring commemorative designs.
One of the highlights of the day was a live painting session on cement bags by a community of artists and children with disabilities. These artworks were later sold, with all proceeds dedicated to building affordable housing for construction workers.
Indocement also set a record recognized by the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) for batik painting on a 500-meter-long cement bag, involving 5,000 participants made up of Indocement employees and their families.
The celebration continued with the presentation of Indocement Innovation Award and Employee of the Year honours, as well as the official launch of the company’s new employee uniforms.
The event closed by a lively performance by Project Pop, the renowned Indonesian music group that featured in a Semen Tiga Roda commercial 15 years ago.
With the theme “Gemilang Pencapaian, Mewujudkan Masa Depan” (Shining Achievements, Building the Future), the 50th anniversary celebration stood as a testament to Indocement’s legacy of dedication, collaboration, innovation, and togetherness. This enduring spirit will continue to guide Indocement as it strides confidently toward a brighter future.
