On June 27, 2023, Indocement received its first delivery of approximately 80–100 tons of RDF from the Landfill Mining Facility and RDF Plant at Bantargebang TPST. The RDF will be used as an alternative fuel to replace fossil fuel (coal) in the cement production process at the Citeureup Factory. This shipment follows the trial agreement on the supply of alternative fuel derived from waste processing, signed by Indocement and the Integrated Waste Processing Unit (UPST) of the Environmental Agency (DLH) of DKI Jakarta Province on June 15, 2023.
