To commemorate Earth Day 2022, the Board of Directors, Management, and employee representatives of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (“Indocement”) carried out a simultaneous tree planting initiative across all operational areas, including the Citeureup, Cirebon, and Tarjun Factory Complexes. This annual activity aims to strengthen environmental awareness and encourage collective action to preserve the planet.
Aligned with the global Earth Day theme #InvestInOurPlanet, Indocement also collaborated with local farming groups as part of its commitment to community involvement in environmental stewardship.
Indocement’s Environmental Commitment and Reclamation Efforts
Recognizing the potential environmental impacts of mining activities, Indocement continues to implement environmental management and monitoring in accordance with its EIA (AMDAL) and post mining land reclamation plans. As part of these efforts, the company has planted nearly 150,000 multi species trees across its three factory locations through ongoing reclamation programs.
