Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) is one of the most essential construction materials in modern development. This type of concrete is produced centrally at a batching plant using a customized formula and then delivered directly to the project site using specialized mixer trucks. This approach ensures high quality, efficiency, and consistency in every application.
Ready-mix concrete is produced by mixing cement, water, sand, and aggregates or gravel. The mix composition can be adjusted based on the technical requirements of the project, such as compressive strength, setting time, or environmental conditions. At the batching plant, the entire mixing process is carried out using automated and controlled systems, ensuring that each batch of concrete meets strict national and international quality standards.
Once the mixing process is complete, the ready-mix concrete is immediately loaded into mixer trucks designed to keep the concrete homogeneous during transit. These trucks are equipped with rotating drums that prevent the concrete from hardening before use. The concrete is then poured directly at the construction site, ready to be applied to various structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, and floor slabs.
Ready-mix concrete is widely used in various types of construction projects, including high-rise buildings and housing, roads and bridges, ports and airports, as well as industrial and commercial infrastructure. RMC is currently produced by Indocement's subsidiary, PT Pionirbeton Industri.
