During Ramadan 2026, Indocement Strengthens Its Commitment to Communities Around Its Operational Areas

Throughout the holy month of Ramadan 2026, Indocement strengthened its commitment to communities around its operational areas through a series of togetherness initiatives, sharing activities, and social support programs implemented simultaneously across multiple operational locations. The programs were directed at partner villages, particularly those in need, as part of the Company’s ongoing effort to remain a good neighbor within the communities where Indocement operates.

For Indocement, Ramadan is an important moment to foster solidarity while supporting partner-village communities around its plants and operational areas. In 2026, the initiatives were delivered through several key forms of support, ranging from food assistance to the strengthening of religious activities and social donations.

Food Assistance for Communities Needs

Support for necessities became one of the main focuses of Indocement’s Ramadan 2026 initiatives. Around the Citeureup Factory, Indocement distributed 27 tons of rice to communities across 12 partner villages in three sub-districts, and provided 1,100 basic food packages (sembako) to eligible partner-village residents in need.

Food assistance was also carried out at the Cirebon Factory through rice donations totaling 19.2 tons, equivalent to 10,110 packages, distributed to partner-village communities. In addition, around the water treatment plant (WTP) facility within the Tarjun Factory operational area, Indocement distributed 120 basic food packages to nearby residents.

At the Grobogan Factory, essential support was delivered in the form of 1,084 basic food packages and parcels for underprivileged groups and partner-village communities, including a distribution event held at the yard of the Grobogan Regency Regional Secretariat Office. Meanwhile, the Maros Plant Complex also conducted basic food distribution as part of the Ramadan initiatives.

Strengthening Religious Activities and Community Togetherness

Beyond food assistance, Indocement supported the strengthening of religious activities and community togetherness during Ramadan. In the Cirebon Plant Complex area, the Company organized a rotating Tarawih program with communities across 40 prayer rooms and mosques in partner villages, involving approximately 100 employees through volunteer activities.

At the Tarjun Plant Complex, Indocement carried out a Ramadan safari program in nine partner villages, featuring communal iftar gatherings and Maghrib prayers as a way to strengthen social ties and community solidarity.

In other operational areas, support for religious activities was also provided through assistance for mosques and Islamic boarding schools, the organization of a youth mosque festival, as well as religious talks and iftar gatherings involving community elements and local stakeholders, including in the Maros and Barru areas.

Social Donations for Orphans and Children in Orphanages

Attention to vulnerable groups—especially children—was an important part of the Ramadan program series. Around the Citeureup Factory, Indocement provided donations for orphans through activities held at mosques and prayer rooms located across villages surrounding the plant complex.

In the Cirebon Factory area, the Company also provided support for orphans living around the plant. Meanwhile, in Tarjun Village and Langadai Village, employee donations were distributed to 86 orphans. Still in the Tarjun area, together with partner journalists, Indocement provided support for 31 children at an orphanage while also holding an iftar gathering.

Engagement and Communication with Stakeholders and Local Media

During Ramadan 2026, Indocement also maintained communication and close engagement with stakeholders around its operational areas. At the Cirebon Factory, stakeholder engagement was carried out through an iftar gathering with the BILIKOM team, involving village heads, community leaders, religious leaders, and representatives of partner Islamic boarding schools.

In addition, the Company conducted visits and outreach to local media—including print, online, television, and radio outlets—as part of its efforts to promote transparency and strengthen relationships with local communities.

Expanding Ramadan Benefits Through Collaboration and Shared Responsibility

The series of Ramadan 2026 initiatives reflects Indocement’s efforts to broaden community benefits through a combination of essential support, religious and community programs, social donations, as well as stronger engagement with stakeholders and local media. Through simultaneous implementation across multiple operational areas, Indocement hopes the values of solidarity and care will continue to grow and deliver tangible benefits for surrounding communities.
