In observance of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (“Indocement”) held simultaneous Pray Safe sessions across all operating units and subsidiaries in late April 2026. The activity served as a shared reminder to continuously strengthen a sustainable safety culture throughout Indocement’s workplace environment.
On this occasion, Indocement President Director Christian Kartawijaya delivered a message encouraging all Indocement people to remain attentive to workplace safety—particularly to the psychosocial working environment—and to understand the risks that may arise if it is not properly managed. The message underscored the importance of awareness, care, and active participation from every individual in creating a safe and healthy workplace.
As a preventive effort, the Company consistently implements a range of initiatives, including an annual work stress survey conducted alongside the Medical Check Up (MCU), psychological assessments, mental health education through seminars, Safety Talks, and P2K3/Sub P2K3 meetings. These programs form part of a systematic approach to identifying potential risks early and strengthening controls proactively.
Indocement also shared lessons learned from two fatal incidents that occurred in Heidelberg Materials group, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a non-compromising safety culture. Employees were encouraged to control risks at the source, manage work and working time effectively, maintain harmonious working relationships, and keep safety as the top priority in every activity.
Through the momentum of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026, Indocement continues to strengthen its commitment to creating a workplace that is safe, healthy, productive, and harmonious for all employees. This year, Indocement adopted the theme “Let’s Ensure a Healthy Psychosocial Working Environment,” aligned with the global theme promoted by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
