As part of its commitment to promoting community economic empowerment and sustainable cultural preservation, Indocement’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program continues to support the development of its fostered micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This support aims to help MSMEs improve product quality, expand market access, and create environmentally friendly products with strong economic value.
One of the results of this empowerment initiative was reflected in the participation of Indocement’s fostered ecoprint batik products at the Ecoprint Fashion Show Week 2026 IDE Indonesia Batch V, held at Lippo Mall Jakarta. The event featured an ecoprint batik collection created by Maryana, a local hero and Indocement Tarjun Factory partner from Tegalrejo Village.
Maryana is an artisan and mentor of the “Godong Ayu” Ecoprint Batik Group in Tegalrejo Village. The presence of her work at the event served as an important step in introducing the potential of local ecoprint batik to a wider audience, while also demonstrating that fostered MSME products have quality and competitiveness in the national fashion industry.
Participation in this event is expected to increase the artisans’ confidence, open broader opportunities for collaboration and marketing, and encourage continuous innovation in producing high-quality, environmentally friendly products with significant economic value.
