Indocement Tarjun Receives National Award for Supporting Immunization Program

Indocement Tarjun Factory received the National Top 5 Award for its support and contribution to the implementation of immunization programs in Indonesia. The award was presented in conjunction with World Immunization Week 2026 at the Guest House of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. Tarjun Factory and was accepted by Eva Ariani, Safety, Health, Environment, and Corporate Social Responsibility Department Head.

The award from the Acting Director General of Disease Prevention and Control of Ministry of Health served as an appreciation for Indocement’s synergy through its Corporate Social Responsibility program in supporting the government’s efforts to increase immunization coverage. This support has contributed to expanding access to healthcare services, particularly for communities in areas requiring greater attention.

Head of Immunization Surveillance Section of the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, Abd. Chaliq, S.Kep., stated that the business sector plays a strategic role in helping address various public health issues. According to him, the government cannot work alone, and collaboration with communities and companies through support and guidance is essential to overcome health challenges together.

Meanwhile, Head of Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Kotabaru Regency Health Office, Akhmad Ruyani, S.K.M., M.M., said that the award reflects the growing collaboration between the Health Office and Indocement’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. He noted that Indocement’s support has helped address limitations in funding, manpower, and resources, enabling healthcare services, including immunization in hard-to-reach areas, to reach more communities. He expressed hope that this synergy would continue to improve public health standards.
