Indocement has been honored with the Excellent designation—the highest accolade—at the 2025 Indonesia Green & Sustainable Comp any Award (IGSCA), held by SWA Magazine and Swanetwork in Jakarta on 10 September 2025.
The company received recognition in the category of Best Innovation in Circular Economy Implementation for its initiative titled Circular Economy Transformation: From Energy to Materials. This program emphasizes the utilization of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), biomass, and solar energy as alternative fuel sources, alongside the substitution of clinker with fly ash, slag, trass, and other alternative materials in the production of low-emission hydraulic cement.
Beyond reducing carbon emissions and minimizing the consumption of non-renewable natural resources, the program also fosters community empowerment through strategic partnerships with cooperatives, village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), various private sector entities, and government institutions—collectively advancing a sustainable circular economy.
This prestigious award underscores Indocement’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Net Zero Emissions agenda and integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, in pursuit of a sustainable and inclusive cement industry.
