Indocement has once again achieved recognition by winning the Bisnis Indonesia Corporate Social Responsibility (BISRA) Awards 2024. The award was received by Indocement’s Corporate Secretary, Dani Handajani, on June 27, 2024, in Jakarta.
BISRA 2024 carried the theme “Paving The Way for Sustainable Business: Innovation in CSR”, emphasizing the importance of innovation in corporate social responsibility initiatives. A total of 46 companies participated in this prestigious event, reflecting the growing commitment to sustainability in the business sector.
The BISRA Awards featured five categories: Special Mention, Silver Champion, Gold Champion, Platinum Champion, and Top 5 Platinum Champion. Indocement proudly earned the Platinum Champion title for its flagship CSR program, Sawargi Swadaya 45, which was recognized for its innovation and positive impact on the community.
The judging panel for BISRA 2024 included prominent figures such as Vivi Yulaswati, Deputy for Maritime Affairs and Natural Resources at Bappenas; Susanto Samsudin, National Director of Habitat for Humanity Indonesia; and Maria Y. Benyamin, Editor-in-Chief of Bisnis Indonesia.
