Indocement reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability by signing a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Purchase Agreement with the Integrated Waste Management Unit (UPST) of the Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta Province on December 16, 2025.
This agreement covers the utilization of RDF produced at the Rorotan Plant, Jakarta, as an alternative fuel in Indocement’s cement production process. The signing marks a significant milestone in promoting integrated waste management and delivering concrete solutions to urban waste challenges in Jakarta.
Agreement Details
The agreement was signed by Agung Pujo Winarko, Head of UPST, Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta Province, Oey Marcos, Director of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk., Soegito C. Kurniawan, Indocement Procurement & AFAM General Manager and Witnessed by Asep Kuswanto, Head of the Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta Province.
This collaboration continues the partnership between Indocement and UPST, following a previous agreement on RDF utilization from TPST Bantar Gebang. The ongoing cooperation reflects mutual trust and a shared vision to support circular economy practices and the transition to cleaner energy sources.
