Indocement continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the quality of Indonesia’s construction workforce through training and certification programs conducted across various regions of the country.
After successfully facilitating certification for 300 construction workers in 2025, Indocement provided training and certification opportunities for another 205 construction workers during the first half of 2026. The program aims to improve workforce competency while promoting higher standards of construction practices in the field.
Supporting the Development of Skilled Construction Professionals
The training and certification initiatives form part of Indocement’s commitment to contributing to sustainable and high-quality development. The programs are carried out in collaboration with regional government agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders within the construction sector.
During the first half of 2026, the programs covered:
- 23 Building Construction Foremen Chiefs in collaboration with Jakarta’s Development Agency on May 19–20, 2026.
- 23 Building Construction Supervisors in collaboration with the Sumedang Public Works Office and an Islamic boarding school board on May 19, 2026.
- 21 Building Construction Foremen in collaboration with Jakarta’s Development Agency and Lifetime Design contractor on July 27–28, 2026.
- 41 Concrete Laboratory Technicians in collaboration with the Banjar Public Works Office on July 29, 2026.
- 97 Bricklayers in collaboration with the Regional Construction Services Center III Jakarta and Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives on July 29–30, 2026.
Semen Tiga Roda Supports a More Competent Construction Ecosystem
According to Indocement Director Troy Dartojo Soputro, supporting workforce certification is more than a marketing initiative. It is part of the company's broader effort to build a construction ecosystem that is more competent, productive, and aligned with industry standards.

Practical Training Delivered by Certified Instructors
The training sessions are conducted by Semen Tiga Roda’s Technical Engineer team, whose instructors hold certification from Indonesia’s National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). Participants receive practical knowledge covering cement, mortar, and concrete materials, product application methods, technical problem-solving, and best practices for improving construction quality.
