PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (Indocement) celebrated its 51st anniversary on August 4, 2026, at ASIST Hall, Citeureup Factory, Bogor Regency, West Java, in a hybrid format. This year’s celebration carried the theme “Harmony in Synergy, Creative in Innovation, Brilliant in Achievement”, reflecting Indocement’s commitment to strengthening collaboration, encouraging innovation, and creating sustainable growth.
Indocement President Director Christian Kartawijaya stated that more than five decades of journey have shaped Indocement into a resilient, innovative, and trusted building materials company. This achievement is the result of the hard work of all employees, the support of customers and business partners, and the trust of shareholders, the government, and other stakeholders.
In recent years, Indocement has continued to strengthen its business portfolio and supporting ecosystem. The company expanded its mortar business through the establishment of PT Mortar Prakarsa Utama, a collaboration between Indocement’s subsidiary and Saint-Gobain Group. Indocement also formed a joint venture with Mondi Industrial Bags GmbH., namely PT Mondi Indo Prakarsa Kemasan, to support reliable packaging availability and maintain product quality.
Indocement also continues to reinforce its sustainability agenda through the use of refuse-derived fuel (RDF), solar power plants at various operational facilities, electric vehicles for factory operations, and several emission reduction initiatives. In 2026, Indocement received PROPER Gold for Citeureup Factory and PROPER Green for Cirebon Factory and Tarjun Factory, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental management and sustainability.
Amid a competitive cement market, Indocement recorded a 4.9% growth in domestic cement sales volume in the first half of 2026. The company’s cement market share reached 28.1%, while Net Revenue increased by 5.2% and Profit for the Period rose by 19.2% to Rp589.6 billion.
Beyond business growth, Indocement continues to expand its social contribution through various programs, including “Bangun Rumah Tukangku” and Indocement Peduli. These initiatives include support for house renovations for construction workers, as well as rehabilitation and reconstruction assistance after flash floods and landslides in several areas of Sumatra.
During the 51st anniversary celebration, Indocement also gave appreciation to innovators who won the Indocement Innovation Awards 2026, winners of the Sports and Arts Week, and recipients of the Employee of The Year 2026 award. Indocement also reaffirmed that occupational safety remains a top priority across all company operations.
“With strong synergy, continuous innovation, commitment to sustainability, and consistent social care, we are optimistic that Indocement will continue moving toward a stronger, greener, and brighter future,” said Christian Kartawijaya.
