On August 4, 2024, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (Indocement) celebrated its 49th anniversary under the theme Growing for Stronger Greener Future. The tagline highlights two key words:
- Growing, reflecting Indocement’s major steps to strengthen its leadership in Indonesia’s cement industry.
- Greener, aligning with the company’s sustainability commitment to create more eco-friendly operations.
Various activities marked the celebration, including the Indocement Baik program, aimed at sharing happiness with communities around operational areas.
At the Citeureup Factory, employees launched One Book One Employee, collecting educational books for partner schools, and participated in voluntary teaching at SMK Tunggal Prakarsa. A football tournament was also held among Indocement’s partner soccer schools.
In Cirebon, employees organized Sedekah Sampah, donated educational packages, and provided meals for orphans. The Indocement Ajar program was introduced via the Santap Ilmu YouTube channel, offering accessible educational content.
At the Tarjun Factory, employees donated educational kits and additional meals for 1,000 elementary students. They also engaged in employee volunteering, including renovating community halls, mentoring special needs students, compost-making workshops, and mangrove education for junior and senior high school students.
Continuing its tradition, Indocement hosted the Sports and Arts Week across all operational sites, involving all employees.
As part of the celebration, President Director Christian Kartawijaya inaugurated the renovated Arena 3Roda, a sports facility upgraded to meet higher standards.
The main event was held simultaneously at Citeureup, Cirebon, and Tarjun Factory, where the President Director expressed gratitude and encouraged employees to maintain teamwork and resilience for a stronger, greener future.
