As part of its golden anniversary celebrations, Indocement hosted a Gala Dinner at The St. Regis Jakarta on August 4, 2025. The event was attended by the Board of Directors and Commissioners, former Directors and Commissioners, management and senior management, as well as key strategic partners including distributors, vendors, and suppliers.
The evening served as both a celebration of the company’s 50-year journey and an opportunity to strengthen the relationships that have been built over the decades.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with an exhibition of paintings created on cement bags. The event started with a live performance by the home band and a video montage retracing the company’s history.
The night’s festivities continued with a theatrical dance performance depicting Indocement’s story from 1975 to 2025—starting with the founding visionaries, commemorating the company’s growth and achievements, celebrating its market leadership, showcasing innovation and digital transformation, and reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
A special highlight of the evening was the “Thank You 50 Much” segment, which featured a video message from the entire Board of Directors expressing gratitude to all stakeholders, along with a tribute to the families of the founders.
During this event, an appreciation was also presented to the buyers of the most expensive painting from the cement bag art exhibition. Proceeds from the sale will be used to build homes for construction workers.
The evening was enlivened by a captivating performance by Angela July, a renowned Indonesian singer and harpist, whose elegant artistry provided the perfect finale to the celebration.
The Gala Dinner was not only a commemoration of past successes but also a reaffirmation of Indocement’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaboration for the future.
