Indocement’s Board of Directors conducted a media visit to the National News Agency (LKBN) ANTARA as part of its annual agenda. The visit, held on November 12, 2025, aimed to strengthen relationships with mainstream media while sharing insights on innovation and challenges within the cement industry.
The Indocement delegation was led by President Director Christian Kartawijaya, accompanied by Director Oey Marcos, Corporate Secretary Dani Handajani, General Manager of Procurement and AFAM Soegito Kurniawan, and the Corporate Communication team. They were welcomed by LKBN ANTARA’s Board of Directors, including Drs. H. Akhmad Munir (President Director), Irfan Junaidi (News Director), Jaka Sugiyanta Suryo, S.H. (Director of Commercial, Business Development, and IT), and Dr. Nina Kurnia Dewi, S.T.P., M.B.A. (Director of Finance and Risk Management) at the ANTARA Heritage Center, Pasar Baru, Jakarta.
During the meeting, Indocement presented its utilization of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) as an environmentally friendly alternative fuel to support sustainability and reduce carbon emissions, as well as the challenges faced by the cement industry, such as oversupply conditions affecting market competition and the ODOL (over-dimension, over-loading) policy impacting logistics distribution.
This media visit reaffirmed Indocement’s commitment to maintaining synergy with the media in navigating the dynamics of Indonesia’s cement industry.
