Indocement Delivers 10 Homes for Construction Workers in Java

Indocement, through its Bangun Rumah Tukangku Semen Tiga Roda program, continues its commitment to providing decent housing for construction workers. In April to early May 2026, a total of 10 homes across West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Banten were completed and officially handed over to their beneficiaries.

The handover ceremonies were conducted in several locations, including Bogor, Sukabumi, Garut, Brebes, Pekalongan, Kebumen, Sidoarjo, Tangerang, and Cisarua. The program targets construction workers who have long contributed to building homes and infrastructure, yet still face challenges in owning proper housing.

Many of the beneficiaries previously lived in inadequate conditions, ranging from structurally unsafe houses and limited access to basic sanitation facilities. Through this initiative, their homes have been transformed into safer, more durable, and comfortable living spaces for their families.

Beyond physical improvements, the program also brings meaningful social and emotional impact to the recipients, as each home represents renewed hope and improved quality of life. The 10 homes delivered in Java are part of a broader initiative targeting 32 construction workers nationwide, spanning from Sumatra to Sulawesi.

Responding to the program, Indocement Director and producer of Semen Tiga Roda, Troy D. Saputro, stated that this initiative is a form of appreciation for construction workers as key contributors to Indonesia’s development. The company aims to help them experience the comfort of a proper home after years of building homes for others.

As of early May 2026, 13 homes have been completed and handed over, while 19 others are still under construction and expected to be delivered in the coming months.
