Indocement Wins Two Prestigious Awards: ICA & ISDA 2025

Indocement closed 2025 with an outstanding achievement. On December 17, 2025, at Hotel Bidakara Jakarta, the company received two national awards: the Indonesian CSR Awards (ICA) 2025 and the Indonesian SDGs Awards (ISDA) 2025. Both awards were presented directly to Indocement’s CSR Manager, Gadang Wardono, during an event organized by the Corporate Forum for CSR Development (CFCD).

The ICA award was granted for the success of the Jangkrik BOS (Crickets Can Make People Successful) program, an initiative focused on community-based economic empowerment. This program develops integrated cricket farming from upstream to downstream, creating new business opportunities and jobs, especially for vulnerable groups. Beyond generating economic value, Jangkrik BOS also utilizes post-mining land productively and in an environmentally friendly way, while supporting biodiversity conservation. The program has been implemented in several partner villages around Indocement’s operational areas and stands as a real example of how CSR can deliver sustainable social impact.

Meanwhile, the ISDA award recognized Indocement’s commitment to integrating climate change mitigation actions into its business strategy. The company was praised for its energy and material transformation initiatives, including the use of alternative fuels, eco-friendly materials, and renewable energy development across its factory complexes. These efforts contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting circular economy-based waste management. Both initiatives align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and support the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 7, SDG 12, SDG 13, and SDG 17.

A Real Commitment to a Sustainable Future

This double achievement proves that Indocement’s commitment to sustainability is not just a slogan but real actions that benefit society, the environment, and the company. “These awards are proof that our programs create tangible impacts, both in economic empowerment and environmental management,” said Gadang Wardono after receiving the awards.

Moving forward, Indocement will continue to strengthen its active role in driving sustainable development through innovative CSR programs and environmentally friendly operational transformations. With synergy between the company, government, business partners, and communities, Indocement believes that sustainability is the path to a better future.
