Indocement achieved a remarkable milestone by winning three Eco-Tech Pioneer and Sustainability Awards (EPSA) 2024 on August 31, 2024, in Semarang. The company received a Gold Award for the Citeureup Factory and two Silver Awards for the Tarjun Factory.
The innovation from Citeureup that earned the Gold Award was the Insect Garden and Vegetation Forest program under the Ecosystem Protection category. Meanwhile, Tarjun Factory secured two Silver Awards, namely Green Power through the Expert System for Finish Mill (ES-Fill) program and Ecosystem Protection through the In-situ Long-tailed Monkey Conservation program.
EPSA is organized by Diponegoro University’s Environmental Engineering Department to recognize companies that innovate in environmental management and community empowerment. The event was attended by PROPER Advisory Board Chairman Prof. Sudharto Hadi, Director of Land Damage Control Ir. Edy Nugroho Santoso from KLHK, as well as representatives from Diponegoro University and the Semarang City Secretary.
