Indocement Citeureup Factory welcomed a group of journalists from Bogor on December 11, 2025. This visit served as an opportunity to showcase various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and sustainability initiatives that have delivered tangible benefits to communities surrounding Indocement’s operational areas.
During the visit, the media observed firsthand how Indocement’s CSR programs focus on empowering local communities through sustainable economic development. One of the highlighted initiatives was the BOS Cricket Farming Program in Hambalang Village, near the Citeureup Factory Complex. This program utilizes post-mining reclamation land to create alternative income sources for residents. Indocement provides technical assistance, farming facilities, and marketing support to ensure the success of these ventures.
Journalists also visited the cricket farm owned by Mr. Suhada, a program participant who now operates nine farming units. His business generates revenues of IDR 9–10 million per harvest, reflecting the program’s success in improving community welfare. Overall, the initiative has achieved a Social Return on Investment (SROI) of 2.23, meaning every IDR 1 invested creates IDR 2.23 in social value.
The media group also toured Mamanaa Cake & Bakery, an MSME in Citeureup Village supported by Indocement since 2017. With Indocement’s guidance, the business now holds official licenses, product certifications including halal certification, improved packaging, and eco-friendly waste management practices. Today, Mamanaa records monthly revenues of approximately IDR 75 million, demonstrating the real impact of Indocement’s CSR programs in helping MSMEs scale up.

This media visit marked an important moment for Indocement to reaffirm that its operations are not solely focused on business performance but also on creating sustainable social, economic, and environmental value.
