Indocement has once again achieved recognition by receiving the FORTUNE Indonesia Change the World 2025 Award, an accolade presented to companies operating in Indonesia that demonstrate a strong commitment to positive purpose, deliver measurable impact, and create new opportunities for communities, employees, the environment, as well as the sustainability of corporate performance.
The award was received by Dani Handajani, Corporate Secretary of Indocement, during the FORTUNE Indonesia Change the World Awarding session, which formed part of the FORTUNE Indonesia Summit 2026 series. The event was held on 12 February 2026 at The Westin Jakarta and featured an inspiring talk show with prominent business leaders in Indonesia.
The recognition was granted for the SABARA (Waste as a Substitute for Coal) initiative, a program that utilizes waste as alternative fuel in the production process. The initiative was acknowledged for contributing to the reduction of coal usage, optimizing waste utilization, and strengthening sustainable environmental management practices.
