Indocement’s Primary Clinic located at the Cirebon Plant Complex has successfully obtained the Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) Certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI). The certificate was officially received by Marlan O. Damanik, General Manager of the Cirebon Plant Complex.
This achievement highlights the clinic’s success in implementing green building principles, achieving 35% energy savings, 21% water savings, and 100% reduction in embodied carbon in materials. The certification process involved several rigorous stages, including document assessment, measurement of energy, water, and material usage, improvement recommendations, and final verification of efficiency measures.
This milestone reflects Indocement’s strong commitment to sustainability initiatives and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. It is expected that this success will inspire more resource-saving efforts across the company’s operations.
