Indocement Reinforces Occupational Safety Culture through BOD SHE Walk in Grobogan Factory

Indocement reaffirmed its commitment to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) by holding the 48th Indocement Safety Committee (I-SC) Meeting and the Board of Directors Safety, Health, and Environment Walk Around (BOD SHE Walk) at the Grobogan Factory on July 30, 2026.

As part of its quarterly agenda, the Safety Committee Meeting (I-SC) serves as a strategic platform to evaluate safety performance and strengthen the safety culture across the Company's operations. Key topics discussed during the 48th meeting included the Group Leading Indicator, progress of the 2026 Group Safety Action and its achievement strategies, as well as a review of incidents within the Heidelberg Materials Group.

The meeting was attended both onsite and virtually by Indocement's management team. Participants included President Director Christian Kartawijaya, Directors Antonius Marcos, Troy D. Soputro, and Sunnira Ly, RMC CEO Thomas Suryadi, along with operational and functional leaders from various business units.

As part of the program, the I-SC also conducted a BOD SHE Walk Observation. The activity demonstrates top management's active involvement in promoting the consistent implementation of occupational safety and health practices throughout all operational areas. It also reinforces the message that safety remains one of the Company's highest priorities.

In addition to site observations, management held interactive safety conversations with employees and contractors. Through these two-way discussions, management gained insight into workers' understanding of workplace hazards and risks while fostering shared awareness of the importance of maintaining a safe working environment.

The sudden inspection covered several operational areas, including the CCC Cement Silo Project, Warehouse & Workshop, Packing House at the Grobogan Factory, PMMS, and the mining quarry. These inspections help ensure that safety standards are consistently implemented across all operational activities.

Through the 48th I-SC Meeting and BOD SHE Walk, Indocement continues to strengthen its safety culture as a shared responsibility across the organization. Supported by the commitment of management and employees, the Company strives to ensure that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
