PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. has once again received recognition for its contribution to regional development. The appreciation was presented by the Sukabumi Regency Government during the third Gebyar SiPenyu event, held at the Palabuhanratu Boxing Arena, Sukabumi Regency, on September 8, 2026.
The award was received by Prawiratno, representing Indocement, from Sukabumi Regent Drs. H. Asep Japar, M.M. The Gebyar SiPenyu program was organized by the Sukabumi Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) to recognize stakeholders' contributions while encouraging greater compliance with regional tax and levy obligations.
SiPenyu, which stands for the Integrated Public Service Movement for Tax and Levy Awareness, recognizes individuals and organizations that contribute to increasing regional revenues. In 2026, the program acknowledged village leaders, district administrations, taxpayers, and private sector entities for their roles in supporting local development.
During the event, Regent Asep Japar emphasized that paying taxes and levies is a shared responsibility that plays a vital role in supporting regional development. According to him, revenue generated from taxes and levies is reinvested in the community through infrastructure development and improved public services.
For Indocement, this recognition reflects the company's positive relationship with the Sukabumi Regency Government and stakeholders throughout its operational areas. The company views regulatory compliance and regional contributions as integral parts of its commitment to conducting sustainable business operations.
This commitment aligns with Indocement's corporate governance principles, which emphasize compliance, transparency, and accountability. In its 2025 Sustainability Report, Indocement highlighted taxation as a strategic contribution to economic and social development and an important aspect of the company's commitment to regulatory compliance.
Through this recognition, Indocement aims to further strengthen its collaboration with the Sukabumi Regency Government and continue contributing positively to local communities and sustainable regional development.
