Marking its golden 50-year milestone, Indocement collaborates with PT Modula Tiga Dimensi (Modula3D), a subsidiary of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk. The collaboration is being realized through the development of Indocement Collaborative Hub, located at I-SHELTER, Citeureup Factory, Bogor on 19 August 2025.
The ±120 m² building is designed in the iconic shape of the number “50,” symbolizing sustainability, innovation, and Indocement’s historical journey. The Collaborative Hub represents Indocement’s commitment to combining five decades of expertise in cement and building materials with breakthrough modern construction technology.
The 3D Construction Printing (3DCP) technology introduced by Modula3D enables construction to be faster, more precise, resource-efficient, and environmentally friendly. Using a large-scale printer capable of reading digital designs, wall construction can be completed up to 70 percent faster than conventional methods. A simple house, for example, can be finished in just six days. Beyond efficiency, this method opens new possibilities for unique, sustainable, and innovative architectural design.
Modula3D itself is a joint venture between BNBR and COBOD International, a leading Denm3D construction printer manufacturer whose technology has already been widely adopted in Europe. Through this partnership, Indocement strengthens its role as a pioneer in Indonesia’s cement and building materials industry while introducing a disruptive construction method that supports sustainable development for the future.
With this breakthrough, Indocement Collaborative Hub stands not only as a symbol of Indocement’s 50-year celebration but also as a marker of a new era in Indonesia’s construction landscape.
