On October 1, 2025, Indocement officially launched the 4th Batch of its Apprenticeship Program at the Citeureup Factory Complex. A total of 30 vocational high school graduates from SMK Tunggal Prakarsa and SMKN 1 Gunung Putri joined the program. The participants, who come from Heavy Equipment Engineering, Electrical Power Installation Engineering, and Industrial Chemistry majors, were selected through a rigorous screening process.
The opening ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including Setia Wijaya (General Manager of Citeureup Factory Complex), Elman Rudolf P. (Deputy General Manager of Operations), Retnawan Widhiantoro (Deputy General Manager of Operation Support), Yulius Hadi Wijaya (CHCD Manager), Drs. Nana Mulyana, M.Si. (Head of Bogor Regency Manpower Office), Ir. Rizal Supari Abdul Hayi (Chairman of Apindo Bogor), representatives from the Indocement Foundation, as well as principals and accompanying teachers from partner vocational schools.
Over the course of approximately nine months, until June 30, 2026, participants will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes:
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Soft competency development
- Technical training
- On-the-job training within Indocement’s operational environment
This apprenticeship program reflects Indocement’s strong commitment to developing local human resources, particularly among vocational school graduates. By providing direct access to the industrial world, Indocement aims to equip participants not only with technical skills but also with a resilient and professional work ethic.
Through collaboration with partner schools and support from various stakeholders, this program is expected to serve as a strategic initiative to bridge the gap between education and employment in a sustainable manner.
