Indocement has once again received a prestigious environmental award through the Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER), organized by the Ministry of Environment/Environmental Control Agency of the Republic of Indonesia.
In the 2026 PROPER assessment, Indocement achieved multiple ratings across its operational units. Indocement Citeureup Plant was awarded PROPER Gold, the highest rating granted to companies demonstrating excellent and sustainable environmental and social responsibility performance. Meanwhile, Indocement Cirebon and Tarjun Plant received PROPER Green, and Semen Grobogan achieved PROPER Compliance.
The award was presented directly by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, during the PROPER Environmental Award ceremony held on 7 April 2026 at Sasana Langen Budoyo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta, and was received by Indocement’s President Director, Mr. Christian Kartawijaya.
PROPER is a comprehensive environmental performance evaluation program conducted by the government, involving multiple stages of assessment, including document evaluation, field verification, and interviews. The program not only reflects regulatory compliance but also encourages companies to continuously innovate in environmental management and community empowerment.
This achievement serves as a strong testament to Indocement’s commitment to sustainable operations and its continuous efforts to balance business performance with environmental responsibility.
