PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (Indocement) has established a joint venture (JV) with Mondi Industrial Bags GmbH (Mondi), part of the Mondi Group, a global company in packaging and paper. The joint venture is named PT Mondi Indo Prakarsa Kemasan (MIPK) and represents a strategic step to strengthen the supporting ecosystem for product quality—particularly through a reliable supply of cement bags.
Under the shareholding structure, Indocement will hold 40% of MIPK, while Mondi will hold 60%.The joint venture is located at the Indocement Citeureup Factory in Bogor, West Java, with Indocement as the primary customer.
The operational proximity to Indocement’s production activities is expected to support greater supply certainty for cement bags, enabling more consistent service to customers.
The establishment of MIPK is part of Indocement’s strategy to reinforce the Company’s purpose of delivering “Material to Build Our Future”, while reflecting its commitment to continued innovation in environmentally friendly products, including sustainable packaging.
