The commemoration of World Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Day at Indocement in April 28, 2025 began with a simultaneous safety prayer across all Indocement operational areas and subsidiaries. The event continued with the reading of a special OHS message from Indocement’s President Director.
A key highlight of the message was the announcement of the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization to enhance workplace safety and health within Indocement’s operations.
Several examples of these innovations include the use of AI-powered cameras to monitor driver conditions, ensure compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and detect potential fire hazards in operational areas.
