  15 January 2009, Indocement received “The Best 4 in Corporate Governance 2008” Award for Companies in Indonesia, which was presented by The Asset magazine, Hong Kong.
  

• Indonesia CSR Award 2008
  23 February 2009, Indocement achieved three awards in the “Indonesia CSR Awards 2008”, which are: Gold Award and First Best Award for the industrial and manufacturing sectors – in the social and environmental category. The other award was received by Kuky Permana, Human Resources Director of Indocement, for First Best Award in the category of Corporate Leadership – Individual type.

  4 March 2008, Indocement received the award from Bogor Daily Journalist Forum.
  
• Clean Development Mechanism Framework
  United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) issued the Certified Emission Reduction in relation with Alternative Fuel Project undertaken by Indocement on 24 and 27 March 2008.
  Indocement becomes the first company in Indonesia to successfully complete a Clean Development Mechanism Framework.

• CER
  Indocement received first payment of the sales for its CER from the Prototype Carbon Fund - an Affiliated Company of World Bank.
  
• IMAC A 2008
  12 June 2008, Indocement, for the third time, received the IMAC (Indonesia’s Most Admired Companies) Award as “The Best Performance Company Image” in the cement industry category in Indonesia from Frontier Consulting Group and Business Week magazine.

• PROPER
  31 July 2008, Indocement achieved the Environmental Performance Rating Program (PROPER) Awards for the period of 2006-2007, with Green Rating for Citeureup Factory and Blue Rating for Cirebon Factory.

  4 August 2008, Indocement received the “Seven Best Managed Companies in Indonesia 2008” Award from the Finance Asia magazine, Hong Kong.

  5 November 2008, Indocement received “The Best 5 Indonesian Financial Reporting 2008 Awards” in the category of manufactured industry, which is presented by the Faculty of Economic of the University of Indonesia in cooperation with the Capital Market Supervisory Agency-Financial Institution and other institutions.
• Indonesia Quality Convention 2008
  11-13 November 2008, Two of Indocement’s Total Quality Control (“TQC”) teams achieved Gold Medal (with the highest score) and Prime Gold (the first ever highest rank given to any TQC team in Indonesia) at the Indonesia Quality Convention 2008.
• Indocement Award 2008
  19 November 2008, Indocement, for the very first time, convened awarding ceremony of Indocement Awards, a nationwide competition.
• Business Review Award
  26 November 2008, Indocement received the Business Review Award from Business Review magazine.
• Internal Restructuring within HeidelbergCement Group
  Due to purpose of internal restructuring within HeidelbergCement Group, on 28 November 2008, HeidelbergCement AG (Germany) - Indocement’s majority shareholder - transferred all of its entire shares in Indocement, amounting to 2,397,980,863 shares (65.14% of the all shares issued by Indocement) to Birchwood Omnia Limited (England). There is no change of controlling party in Indocement, by considering that Birchwood Omnia Limited is currently owned 100% by HeidelbergCement Group.

JANUARY

• Golden flag Award
  On 2 January, Indocement received the Gold Flag of Occupational Health and Safety Performance Award for its three factories from the Ministry of Manpower.

• SGS Quality Award
  On 21 May, Indocement received the SGS Quality Award 2007 for its effort in the innovation of using alternative materials in its production process.

• The Best Chief Financial Officer 2007
  On 11 July, Christian Kartawijaya, Indocement’s Director, received the Best Chief Financial Officer Award from the Finance Asia Magazine, Hongkong.
• The Ten Best Managed Companies
  On 11 July, Indocement received the Ten Best Managed Companies Award from the Finance Asia Magazine, Hongkong.
• IMAC Award
  On 18 July, Indocement received the IMAC (Indonesian Most Admired Companies) 2007 Award for the best in building corporate image in the cement category from Business Week and Frontier Consulting Group.
• Jatropha Project
  On 20 July, Indocement conducted the initial socialization project of jatropha tree as the alternative fuel.
• Community Development
  On 23 July, Indocement commenced the inauguration of Indocement’s high school building, located in Citeureup, Bogor.
• Acquisition of PT Gunung Tua Mandiri
  On 25 July, Indocement closed a transaction to acquire 51% shares of PT Gunung Tua Mandiri, a new developed aggregates quarry in Rumpin, West Java.

• Community Development
  On 1 August, Indocement handed over the building of SMP Negeri 1 Gempol, Cirebon to the Education Office of Cirebon Region.

  On 15 August, Indocement received awards for several categories from Business Review Magazine.
