Production Facilities

On its 200 hectare Citeureup site in Citeureup, Bogor, West Java, 45 kilometers south of Jakarta, Indocement operates nine dry process manufacturing plants, with a total cement capacity of approximately 11.9 million tons per year. We also operate two dry process plants, with a cement capacity of approximately 2.6 million tons per year at our 37 hectare Cirebon site in Palimanan, West Java, 150 kilometers east of Jakarta, and a dry-process cement plant with capacity of approximately 2.6 million tons per year in Tarjun, South Kalimantan. All of our dry-process plants use precalciner rotary kilns, and, mostly, produce OPC Type I except for Plant V, which produces white cement and oil well cement.

We have also applied an online production monitoring system. The system provides hourly updated monitoring and viewing of cement operations, from raw mill to packaging, which can be accessed directly by the Head Office. The system also provides an hourly update of stock information of all cement plants and cement terminals.

Our sites also have a variety of other facilities, such as paper bag, packaging and distribution facilities. We also operate power generation facilities at the Citeureup and Tarjun sites that provide all our electricity requirements.
